Your adventure to Egypt from Eiat begins with a scenic drive from Eilat to Cairo, where you’ll dive into Egypt’s ancient wonders. The Egyptian Museum, home to treasures like Tutankhamun’s golden artifacts.
Stand in awe before the Great Pyramids of Giza and the mysterious Sphinx, guardians of history. Explore Memphis, the ancient capital, and visit the majestic Citadel of Saladin with its stunning Alabaster Mosque.
Next, board an overnight sleeper train to Luxor, where more marvels await. In Luxor, wander through the colossal Karnak Temple and the beautifully preserved Luxor Temple, where ancient Egypt’s grandeur comes to life. Cross the Nile to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, hidden tombs of the pharaohs, and watch the grand Hatshepsut Temple and the towering Colossi of Memnon.
Then, return to Cairo by overnight sleeper train train again, and then continie back to Taba border near Eilat.

Cairo Highlights:

Arrival in Taba (The Evening before the tour)
After crossing through the Israeli side of the border, meet your English-speaking guide at the Taba border at 8:00 pm. From there, enjoy a comfortable drive to Cairo, which will take approximately seven hours.
Day 1: Cairo
Upon arrival in Cairo, begin your day with a visit to the famous Egyptian Museum, home to countless ancient treasures and artifacts. You’ll also visit the Papyrus and Perfume factories before spending the night in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, your expert Egyptologist guide will take you to Giza to visit the awe-inspiring Pyramids and the Sphinx, built over 4,600 years ago. Explore the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu), along with the pyramids of his successors, Chephren (Khafra) and Mycerinus (Menkaura).
Admire the enigmatic Sphinx, with the face of Chephren and the body of a lion, which has stood guard over the land of the Pharaohs for millennia. These incredible structures are part of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Next, visit the ruins of Memphis, the ancient Pharaonic capital, followed by a tour of Islamic Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladin and the magnificent Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Continue on to the Coptic area of Cairo, where you will visit the Hanging Church, built atop the remains of the Roman fortress of Babylon, and St. Sergius Church, believed to have sheltered the Holy Family. In the evening, board the overnight train to Luxor.
Day 3: Luxor
Arrive in Luxor and start your exploration of the East Bank, visiting the Karnak Temple, the largest center of worship in ancient Egypt, and Luxor Temple, known for its grand papyrus columns and the remains of an ancient Christian Church and the Abu Haggag Mosque. These sites showcase the convergence of three religions in one location. Enjoy a free afternoon and evening, then spend the night on the boat.
In the afternoon, continue your tour of Luxor with a visit to the West Bank. Discover the Valley of the Kings, the necropolis of the New Kingdom pharaohs, where tombs were hidden in the Theban Hills to protect the treasures buried within. Marvel at the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, a stunning rock-hewn structure, and visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. After a full day of exploration, board the overnight train back to Cairo.
Day 4: Return to Taba
Arrive in Cairo in the morning and continue the journey back to Taba, arriving at approximately 7:00 pm.
