Day 1
Exploring the Wonders of Cairo
- 20:30 – Arrive to Taba border
- 21:00: Meet our English-speaking guide at the Taba border for assistance (process may take up to an hour, your patience is appreciated).
- 21:30: Begin the journey westward across the Sinai Desert, passing through the Suez Canal en route to Cairo.
- 05:30: Start your full-day tour in Cairo. Visit the incredible Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, built 4,600 years ago as the grand tombs for Pharaohs. Marvel at the three iconic pyramids: Cheops (Khufu), Chephren (Khafra), and Mykerinos (Menkaura), and witness the mysterious Sphinx, guarding these ancient wonders.
- Travel 25 km south of Cairo to visit Sakkara, where the Step Pyramid of Zoser stands as the first-ever attempt at pyramid construction.
- Continue to the Egyptian Museum, home to countless priceless antiquities.
- 17:00: Check-in at your hotel in Cairo and enjoy a free evening exploring the vibrant city. We recommend strolling through Cairo’s beautiful sites with a city map provided by the hotel.
Day 2
Journey to Alexandria
- 09:00: After breakfast, start your journey to Alexandria, the Mediterranean city founded by Alexander the Great.
Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa, Pompeii’s Pillar, and witness Alexandria’s ancient charm. You’ll see remnants of Roman rule, explore the vibrant souks, and relax by the picturesque beaches. - Alexandria is also famous for its beautiful Mediterranean beaches, local cafes, souks, and historical relics from the ancient era.
- Return to Cairo for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Islamic Cairo & Return
- 09:00: After breakfast, visit the Islamic areas of Cairo, including the Citadel of Saladdin, featuring the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali.
- 11:00: Begin the return journey back to Taba.
- 19:00: Approximate arrival at Taba border and re-entry into Israel.
